Kids with ADHD may be more prone to getting into controlling, dependent relationships, self-esteem issues. They may wind up dating somebody that may have some control issues going on. So, really important that we keep tabs on whether kids are in healthy relationships. People with ADHD tend to start really intense relationships, and they tend to flame out quickly. And also that mood regulation piece, you may have kids that go through the first breakup, and it hits them a lot harder than it hits other kids too.
