More often than not, when we tell people that we make a living by producing videos and distributing them for free online, their first question is, 'so how do you get money?' And the truth is, while we have some consistent revenue coming in from our viewers and from ads, we’ve gotten really lucky with sponsorships and other funding opportunities. But the Internet is a constantly changing ecosystem, and over the last year, some of our bigger sources of funding have greatly diminished and others have disappeared, leaving us unsure whether we’ll be able to keep making MinuteEarth.
