of saying things about the present that would otherwise be rude or risky. But have you ever wondered why so little of the bright futures promised
in TED talks actually come true? Is something wrong with the ideas? Or with the notion of what ideas
can do all by themselves? I write about the entanglements
of technology and culture, how technologies make certain
compositions of certain worlds possible, how culture in turn structures
