========== In 2015, Field Museum scientists
published 226 books and papers and had their work cited more
than 10,000 times. They studied specimens from
every continent on the planet, including those in the ocean
and others in outer space and in the process discovered
148 new archeological sites and 160 new species to science. We lent out in excess of 42,000 specimens to
other museums and research institutions, and had 727 visitors come here to help
answer their big research questions, and you probably didn't even here
about a fraction of this. It's not your fault! But I wanted
to do something about it. For the last 36 years the museum
