to prepare their child for an evaluation is to manage their own stress about the
evaluation themselves. Oftentimes, I find that parents are really anxious about
having their child evaluated, and the child will pick up on the parent's
anxiety about that. So the first thing a parent can do is to get educated about
what the evaluation is, and then also feel confident that they're doing the
