My name is Ronnie Sidney, and I am from Dunnsville, Virginia.Issues that I struggle with was handwriting and ADHD.The parts of school that I like was parts where I was allowed to be creative.What I struggled with was really handwriting.So, writing notes.It's almost like no matter how hard I tried to write,the more mistakes I would make and the worse the paper would actually come back to the teacher.I felt like the only person in the world.I really felt isolated.I felt vulnerable. You know, being black,we always say you have to work twice as hard.But being black with a disability, you have to work three times as hard.Why can't I do this?
