The ADHD brain has an issue with motivation. So ADHD isn't really a problem with attention, it's a problem with motivation. So if you have a kid with ADHD that plays video games, they can play video games for eight hours straight. Right? So, not a problem with attention. It's a problem with getting started on tasks, switching from task to task, that's also an issue as well. So when you have ADHD, your frontal lobe of your brain, where you have your executive function capabilities, things aren't working so well. So, you have issues with regulating emotions.
