[This captioning does a horrible job later on. Must be redone.] We've got a number which is apparently so famous that it's up there on the mathematical constants list. Up there with pi and e and root 2. But this one I'd never heard of until recently. And apparently, well, they're pretty sure it's irrational, so I'm just gonna give you the first bit of it. This is Feigenbaum's constant, or one of Feigenbaum's constants. There's another one. If you find references to two of them, I'm not gonna talk about the second one which has the symbol alpha. There was a paper in I think 1970 order by Robert May about an equation which I'm gonna write down which models population growth. X, so that's traditional, this is gonna...
