woke up to a big surprise in a small package-- Baxter, a pygmy goat. We have a little goat that
was born early this morning. NARRATOR: Life is off to a
rough start for this little kid. And its mama isn't
taking care of it. It won't feed it. It's horrible when you
see this little cute-- I hate to have him die. Wan to bring the goat on back? All right, when-- he
was born this morning and its not eating? HEATHER: The mother wouldn't
feed it to start with, and now he's so weak, I
don't think he can eat. DR. EMILY THOMAS: Pretty much
as soon as an animal is born, they need to start
getting nutrition. We tried bottle-feeding him. DR. EMILY THOMAS: Is
he swallowing at all? HEATHER: He just
lets it drain...
