Back in the 1970s, this guy was part of a psychological study... but the whole time he had no idea. He will never know. We don't know his name, but we do know... he needed to pee. One day, 60 unwitting men went into a public bathroom to do their business. For 20 of them, no one else was around and on average, from the time they reached the urinal it took them 4.8 seconds to start to pee. For the next 20 guys, one actor was standing one urinal away and on average, it took them 6.2 seconds to begin. For the final 20 guys, the actor stood unnervingly close and it took them an average of 8.4 seconds to start urinating.
