Charles was infatuated with movies right from almost look like the day he was born. NARRATOR: It was that passion that landed him in the Los Angeles film scene. And I worked within the feature film industry for about five years. Then the writer strike happened, and the opportunities just weren't there like they were before. One day it just sort of dawned upon us. Like hey, if you're dad is as crazy and is awesome and his personality is larger than life like you say, why don't we go out to Michigan for a few days and see if we can shoot a sizzle real. And Jan said, why would anyone want to do a reality show about me? I'm an old man. I stick my hand up the back end of a cow. I thought, oh well, yes.
