My name is Lola Álvarez. I was born and raised in Mexico City. I live in Plano, Texas. I’m the mother of three boys who have the same learning differences that I do. I have dyslexia, dysgraphia, and issues with auditory processing. I work with children with autism. When I was little, people didn’t understand why I wasn’t learning and working at the same level as my IQ.
