========== One of the hardest parts for me was, you know, the times that my son felt really negatively about himself. And we would hear, even from a young age, "I'm not smart." And I'd like to know how everybody handles that? When my son came home and struggled and said that, "I'm not smart, I'm not as smart as my classmates. How come they get it and I don't?" I had all these wonderful, positive words that are true. You know, this is part of who he is. To counter that thought process of, "I am not good enough."
