I'm just curious what was your response when you first heard the diagnosis? It was empowering and it was also that, the acknowledgement that, hey, you know, this isn't just in my head. Do you think that having a name for it enabled you to get support at school? Absolutely. It wasn't until I had the name that I could get the support, unfortunately. So a lot of it was, "We don't have the resources. It's not in the budget. "He doesn't have an IEP or a 504, so we can't do anything extra to be able to support him." And that was really frustrating. So it was going through the pediatrician and going through the process and getting that designation that opened the doors for him to be able to get that support. I just in my h...
